Project dissemination work in banking sector
The project teams from Golomt Bank and State Bank, together with the Human
Resources Professional Council under the Mongolian Banking Association,
organized a meeting to share the importance of the Erasmus+MONGWBL project and
the methods implemented with other banks. The meeting, which took place on May
5, 2023, was attended by representatives from 11 organizations, including Khas
Bank, Khan Bank, Trade and Development Bank, Kapitron Bank, Transport
Development Bank, Genghis Khan Bank, Bogd Bank, Development Bank of Mongolia,
and the Academy of Banking and Finance.
Golomt Bank and State Bank, as partners of the MONGWBL project, are
committed to supporting the development of work-based learning in the banking
sector. The bank's representatives provided valuable insights into the needs
and expectations of employers and expressed their willingness to collaborate
with universities to provide students with relevant practical experience.
During the meeting, the Golomt Bank and State Bank project teams
highlighted the benefits of work-based learning and the impact it can have on
the employability of graduates. They also shared their experiences in
implementing the program and provided valuable insights into best practices and
potential challenges.
At present, students of OTU and UFE are successfully participating in the
work-based learning UAPBI at Golomt Bank and State Bank as part of the project
cooperation. This program, supported by the European Union's Erasmus+MONGWBL
project, aims to provide students with practical experience and enhance their
employability in the banking sector.
The meeting was a great success, and it demonstrated the strong commitment of the participating organizations to promoting innovation and enhancing the quality of education in the Mongolian banking sector.
